Whenever I try to do anything inside of the Azure Backup agent, I am presented with this message: "The Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent cannot connect to the OBEngine service. The OBEngine/Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent service is present and running.  I have stopped it and started it numerous times.  I have turned the firewall completely off and used Resource Monitor to verify that port 6049 is listening and listed as "Allowed, not restricted" for cbengine.exe.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the MARS agent.  I'm not sure what else to try - does anybody have any ideas?

I hope with the reinstallation of MARS agent you would be running the latest version (2.0.9162.0). If so, try restarting the cbengine.exe service and change passhphrase. See if that works, if not, reboot the machine and try. Also, check the cbengine logs from C:\program files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Temp for pointers to troubleshoot the issue.
