I'm currently evaluating Azure DSC in scenario where I would use Azure DSC in one "management" tenant to manage VMs across multiple others. I understand I'd pay for log analytics space used, but how about Azure Automation DSC node costs? One node is ~$5 for non-Azure (aside from free 5) , but this is going to be Azure VM in the end, but onboarded in the same way as "on-premises" VM, or with DSC extension. Will Azure Automation detect that it's Azure VM? Does the same apply to Inventory and Change management ?
