I'm still trying to wrap my brain around how scheduling is supposed to work in Project and it NEVER seems to work the way I expect. So scheduling is mostly a longed for feature that I find unusable. But hope springs eternal...

I think the biggest problem I have is that I do things concurrently. I have multiple tasks that start on Monday and are due on Friday. But Project thinks I can only do one thing at a time and gets crazy when you start multi-tasking.

Does Microsoft think I want to micro-manage myself and enter what I do every hour of every day? Or am I missing some switch that would make "lazy" scheduling possible? I mean if I have two tasks scheduled for a given day than each of those will take half that time in real work. Why is that hard for Project to understand?
