嘿所有人，真的希望有人能把我从痛苦中解脱出来......我想要做的就是使用我自己的域名在我自己的服务器上托管我自己的网站。我必须阅读其他所有人发布&关于这样做的教程vid，但在这里，我仍然是8天后约

Hey Everyone,really hope someone can put me out of my misery..All i want to be able to do is host my own website on my own server using my own domain name.I must have read every other post & tutorial vid about doing just this and yet here i am,still,about 8 days later.. lookin like I've just been dug up!!
All i need is a bit of info and guidance on,well,pretty much every single step i should take from which components i should install right the way through to what would be my final step of publishing the site.
Ive been using wordpress,webmatrix 3, IIS 7/7.5 and from what I can gather it should be a pretty straightforward and painless process,So whats occuring???I've only got a flakey bit of knowledge about server se ups/databases etc so some of the terminology may be lost on me when im trying to trace errors & things.
So anyway if someone could do me something like a 'walkthrough for dummies',using the same tools ive been using,that would be great.
