Recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 RTM and have to reinstall all installs.
When attempting to install the Visualization and Modeling SDK from this file
en_visual_studio_2012_visualization_and_modeling_sdk_r2_x86_1017573.exethat I downloaded from MSDN subscriptions I get the following message
Windows Program Compatibility mode is on. Turn it off and then try Setup again.
I had the same thing occur when attempting to install the Visual Studio 2012 SDK from this file en_visual_studio_2012_sdk_x86_920808.exealso as downloaded from MSDN subscriptions but found a forum thread that linked to an alternate download which actually installed theVisual Studio 2012 SDK without the above message.
Thus is there a similar link to an install that will work for the Visualization and Modeling SDK?
