I have recently run across a problem with a legacy MS Access application I support. This application uses the Office Web Components (OWC) spreadsheet embedded in MSA forms to allow the user to enter some data quickly. I understand OWC has been depreciated, but my customer does not presently want to spend the money to modify the application to upgrade to some other method.

The problem is that every time I install the application on a new system, the links to the spreadsheet are lost and I need to recreate the OWC spreadsheet using the same name and properties. While this is not all that difficult, it is bothersome.
